Updates in Dec 2024
The various clusters of the Social & Recreation Hub are coming together as we start to see the building structures form. Read on to know more about what has been going on at each of the clusters.
Progress of the Construction
Accommodation Cluster
The Accommodation Cluster is taking shape, featuring a variety of lodging options aimed at providing guests with a wide range of accommodations, alongside a central administration building to oversee operations within the cluster. To recap, this cluster includes bungalows, chalets, guest rooms, and villas, each uniquely designed to cater to diverse guest preferences and needs.
Chalets have reached a significant milestone with the installation of sanitary and plumbing systems currently underway. This phase is essential as it establishes the water supply, drainage, and waste management infrastructure, forming the foundation for further interior and finishing work.
Other accommodation types, such as the bungalows, guest rooms, and villas, are progressing through earlier phases, which include structural setup, framing, and initial interior works. Each stage is carefully monitored to ensure that quality standards and timelines are adhered to, supporting a smooth progression toward the cluster’s scheduled completion.
Beyond the lodging facilities, the gigantic swimming pool within the cluster is now taking form. Ground levelling work for both the pool area and the central island is currently underway, preparing the site for further construction phases. Once completed, this pool and island area will add a valuable recreational element to the cluster, enhancing the overall guest experience.
With each step carefully coordinated, the Accommodation Cluster is on track to deliver a high-quality, multifaceted lodging environment, balancing comfort, style, and functionality for future guests.
Recreation Cluster
The Recreation Cluster construction is progressing, with ongoing efforts to install precast elements across the recreational buildings. These precast components are essential for ensuring each facility meets strict quality and safety standards, providing a strong foundation for future use.
Recreational Buildings 1 and 2 are nearing the completion of their structural phases. With the primary structural work almost finished, these buildings are set to commence the architectural phase, where internal walls, design details and finishing elements will be added to bring each space to life.
Recreational Building 3 has remaining Level 2 structural works in progress. Once these structural components are complete, Recreational Building 3 will also transition to the architectural stage, aligning with the design goals of the entire cluster.
As the structural phases wrap up, the Recreation Cluster is moving steadily toward creating durable, efficient, and visually appealing recreational spaces for future users.
F&B Cluster
Construction of the Terrace Building, which will house a variety of food and beverage outlets, is moving forward steadily. Workers are currently focused on installing and reinforcing the concrete slab on the second floor. This step is critical to ensure a solid and durable foundation, allowing the building to support the activities and foot traffic expected in this vibrant F&B space.
With the Level 2 structure nearing completion, exciting design elements are beginning to take shape and we are now witnessing the breathtaking sea views that future patrons on Level 2 will enjoy. These panoramic views of the horizon will offer a scenic backdrop to the dining areas, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests and enhancing the overall dining experience.
As construction progresses, the Terrace Building is on track to become a standout feature in the F&B Cluster, combining robust construction with a visually appealing and strategically designed space that takes full advantage of its location by the sea.
