The construction of the Social and Recreation Hub along Changi Coast Walk is abuzz with activity. As you drive past towards NSRCC Changi, you will notice concrete structures and scaffolding emerging from behind the hoarding gates. Various sections of the Hub are starting to take shape, with most of the foundational work already finished.

Let’s recap on the clusters that will make up the Social and Recreation Hub - Recreational, F&B, and Accommodation. The clusters will be seamlessly interlinked, featuring sheltered walkways and full accessibility.

Accommodation Cluster

The administration building and accommodation types within this cluster – the bungalows, chalets, guest rooms and villas – are progressing in various phases, with some areas such as chalets, already progressing with installation of sanitary and plumbing systems.

Recreation Cluster

Work is ongoing to install precast elements at the recreation buildings to meet quality and safety standards.

Using these elements improves installation efficiency, durability, and aesthetics.

F&B Cluster

The construction of the Terrace Building, which will have food and beverage outlets, is progressing well. Currently, the workers are installing and reinforcing the concrete slab on the second floor. This step is crucial as it will provide a strong foundation for the next stages of the building's development.
